Philadelphia

Two weekends ago, my parents’ friends, Kristyn and Saul, got married in Philadelphia.  Mommy was in the wedding, so we flew out east for the festivities.  Oh my, was it so much fun!  Mommy and daddy had a great time being back in their favorite city eating lots of delicious food and I had a good time meeting all of their friends.  Ms. Kristyn was so nice that she let me come to the wedding and play with a babysitter upstairs during the ceremony and reception.  Mommy was super nervous to let me out of her sight, but I had lots of fun with the babysitter.  We even snuck a peek into the wedding reception from a window upstairs.  It looked beautiful!!  Mommy and daddy said that it was one of the most fun weddings that they have ever been to.

My First Historical Moment

On my 9th week birthday, my parents decided to show me something that will never be seen again – a space shuttle flying on top of a Boeing 747.  That’s right, along with thousands of other Angelenos, I witnessed the Space Shuttle Endeavour as it circled around Los Angeles and landed at LAX, where it will be stored until its museum is ready at the California Science Center.  And just like that, the shuttle program has come to an end.  I’ll cross astronaut off my career path list…
