Meeting the Finns

When Mammer, Grandpa and Aunt Amy were here, Mommy’s Finnish host family also came to visit (minus Aunt Anne and her family).  My Mufa (Mommy’s host father), Mumu (Mommy’s host mother), Uncle Simo & Aunt Lina, Aunt Heidi, and cousins Walter and Werner were on vacation here in California and spent a long weekend with us.  We had so much fun going to the beach!  Walter is two years old and Werner is five months old.   I think between all of the grandparents and parents, we took a million photos.  Here is but a sampling of the good times.

Telling Mumu and Famu

This morning, I woke up SUPER early to talk to the Granats on skype.  They were all in Iirislahiti (except Simo) visiting my Mamma and Pappa.  I can’t wait for Baby Vo to meet his Finnish “cousins,” Jonathan (3 yrs.), Walter (2 yrs.), and Matilda (1 yr.)!!  I also think the Granats cannot wait to meet Baby Vo.  Hopefully we can visit them sooner rather than later!
